Problem Statement (Abstract)

The plan for Arkeo’s launch that the ShapeShift community approved and funded includes an airdrop to help kickstart the network/community. In order to claim the airdrop, the average eligible user will need a UI to guide them through the process. Currently, no UI for claiming exists, and it’s up to either the Arkeo workstream or ShapeShift to develop this. Further, because actions on Ethereum, Avalanche, THORChain, Cosmos, and Juno were eligible for the airdrop, the claim UI should support multiple wallets.

Goals

Objectives:

1. Enable users to easily check if they’re eligible for the airdrop, and if so, how much
   1. Users must be able to check Ethereum, THORChain, and Cosmos accounts
2. Enable ShapeShift wallet, KeepKey, Metamask, and Keplr users to claim their airdrop (will give Ledger users a path as well)
   1. We either need to support WalletConnect V2 too, or figure out how to enable claiming in the app without breaking the experience for users that need to switch wallets (ie. switch between metamask and keplr) - see Question #1
3. Educate airdrop recipients on what Arkeo is and provide a clear Call-to-Action to stake their Arkeo, participate in governance, and join the community

Goals:

1. Keplr, metamask, ledger, shapeshift, and keepkey wallets can successfully claim their full airdrop

2. 0 downtime during airdrop claim

3. At least 20% of claimed airdrops delegated

Non-goals

1. Arkeo liquidity on Osmosis
2. Ability for gnosis safes to claim Ethereum airdrops
