NOTE: All users have the ability to start Lofi Radio while only users with mod+ permissions are able to stop lofi.

As of the time of the article, the ShapeShift Discord server has 5 music bots.

To Start Lofi

To bring Lofi to a channel, first join the voice channel and then use the “/play” command in 🎼・music-bots-control-room📫.

Play command brings up 5 bot options. Click on the bot you want to respond.

• FoxBot: ignore, for the purpose of this article
• Lofi Radio 2: used for voice channels
• Lofi Radio 3: used for voice channels
• lofi girl v2: ignore, for the purpose of this article
• Lofi Radio: reserved for Stage

Be aware that each Lofi Radio bot is able to be “stolen” to another channel. For this reason, Lofi Radio should only be used for the Stage. Lofi Radio 2 & 3 can be used for any other channel.

To Stop Lofi

There are three options:

1. Disconnect - right click on Lofi Radio and choose “Disconnect”. This can be done from a voice channel as well as the stage.

1. Use /stop command in the 🎼・music-bots-control-room📫. Be sure to choose the right bot to stop.

1. (This only applies to the Stage.) Move Lofi to the audience by right click on Lofi Radio and choosing “Move to Audience.” This also makes it simple to being Lofi Radio back up on stage by right clicking and choosing “Invite to Speak”.

To adjust Lofi volume

For any of the Lofi Radio bots, use the command /volume and select an amount between 10 - 100.

Lofi Radio has additional functionality. Using the /volume command with no amount following it will bring up and interactive UI that can be used to bump the volume up and down by 10. The UI does timeout <30 seconds after the last volume adjustment.
